Hi everyone,
Can somebody tell me how I can remove windows live messenger from my pc? I need all registry files from that program deleted so that I can reinstall it again. Thanks.

Hi osorio...

you could try the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility as that removes installer entries.

Try this:
Click Start/ Run and then paste this

MsiExec.exe /I{FCE50DB8-C610-4C42-BE5C-193F46C6F812}

and then press Enter

when I copy and paste all that stuff, I get a message that says:"this action is only valid for products that are currently installed". What does that mean?????

Basically means its saying that WLM is not installed

I asked you in my last reply, is WLM not in the Add/Remove Programs Utility?

Yes WLM is in the add remove utility, but I need to remove every single evidence of it so that I can reinstall it. And yes, it is installed. But it doenst seem to let me sign into it. Any suggestions??

Did it ever work before properly?

I have not personally tested this so use it at your own risk

(right click save target as, and run it)

This may fix the problem but you will lose ALL msn settings (fonts, config etc )

Yup, it worked fine all the time....I think until I installed zonealarm, which I just removed and WLM seems to work fine. Any ideas why???

Some type of permission settings, you will need to play around to find out what is causing it. I dont know off hand what to tell you to try, I apologize
