I am using windows media player series 9, and i have some video files in wma format. it's be coming pretty frequently now, everytime after i opened the files and let it go for a few minutes, it just freeze up my whole computer. No sound no reaction no nothing, just freeze, then i have to reboot again
second problem is some of my wma files wont play, it says its missing codec and then having error downloading codec. i tried the codec package from microsoft and some other websites, but none of them worked.

microsoft windows XP
home edition
version 2002

HP invent
Intel(R)
pentium(R) 4 cpu 3.20ghz
384 MB of RAM
