I have this problem that everytime I try to shut down the computer brings up a window labeled "WIN 95 RPC Wmsg Window" telling me I need to end the task before it will shut down. How can I fix this problem?

What programs do you have running when you try to shut down??

I have scanner software, web cam, aol, msn messenger, printer, cd burner, internet explorer all loaded up but I think it all started after I set up a Dial-up "Connect to the Internet" icon I used for a previous service.

My first thought would be to close all of the application before going to start>shut down this may pervent this error if it does not let us know
