Hi I am Tweety Gal,
I am using my boyfriends spare laptop. The laptop has windows xp professional on it. Its a toshiba brand laptop.

My problem is every time i sign in to windows live messenger a window keeps popping up it says "windows live communications platform has encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for any inconvenience. if you were in the middle of something the information you were working on might be lost. tell microsoft about the problem..."

I am still able to use msn but if i click "dont send" its signs out of msn all together same with if i click "send error report".

i have tried reinstalling msn and restarting my computer and getting rid of the first msn. i dont know what else to do and neither does my boyfriend.

Please help me I need help to get rid of the window its annoying me.

I'd uninstall Windows Live Messenger stuff completely and reinstall.

1.) Try clearing all cookies and cache from IE => Tools then Options, and see if your able to access Windows Live. Make sure that you have IE 8.0 also.

2.) run Malwarebytes and see if it will detects and remove any Malware http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebyte...=dl&tag=button

Pls. give me an update.
