I seem to have an annoying problem with my PC. I've followed all the instructions in your stickys at the top of this forum and still have the same issue. SP2 was installed on a clean system and adaware has the recommended update.
All my programs work fine but when I try to access Windows Explorer in any way, it just won't let me do it. I can't get into my documents, my computer or the control panel. Administrative Tools works fine though, as does running things like services.msc from the run window. I've tried to access through the command prompt (e.g. "start C:\.....") but that won't work. The thing is, when I try and open files from within programs or access the net, I don't have a problem!! I'm very confused Even if I try and open Explorer by right clicking on the start menu and then going to explore, it just thinks about it for a few seconds then does nothing. I've run virus scans, adaware scans, spybot S&D scans but nothing comes up.
Please can someone help because I just don't know what to do and its getting quite frustrating.
