After formating and re-installing XP SP1 OEM disc and and installing SP2, I need to re-input my key from the COA sticker. No problem. Windows activates over the internet. No problem. When rebooting after shutdown windows states that I must activate copy before use. Click yes to activate and I get kicked back back to log on screen. Figured it was an install problem. Re-formated, installed again and updated to SP2. Entered Key, activated, rebooted, and same thing. HMMMMM....any ideas?:4-dontkno

This is a known issue with Windows XP SP2. Microsoft provides a somewhat lengthy, but usually successful, repair in their Knowledge Base article for it --- http://support.microsoft.com/kb/312295/en-us
