After I start my computer and log into Windows, it starts to show the desktop. Before anything shows, however, I get this exact message:

A fatal exception 0E has occurred in 0028:FF03C62F. The current application will be terminated.

I can't even get into Windows. After I "press any key to continue" it just has the cursor and doesn't do anything.

What does this mean and how can I fix it?

Welcome to the forums Kyoushu we hope you enjoy your visits...:D

Do you have a regular Win. CD or do you use a restore type CD such as HP offers?

Try booting to your windows boot disk and choose start computer with CD Rom support and loading Windows over itself.

Can you describe the exact steps? We can talk on AIM if possible; my SN is KyoushuHedgehog.
