If it's a full Retail version (ie: not an upgrade disc), you should simply be able to reinstall or perform a Repair.
If all else fails, get the DOS bootable iso disk tools from the HDD manufacturers website. You can then boot from the disk tools CD and partition/format the HDD. You should then be able to load the OS fresh onto the blank HDD.
