are you able to get into safemode? if so, try restoring to a previously saved restore point prior to the problem.

hey TSF,
yesterday night when i was doing my homework on my acer laptop and it suddenly shut down and when i try to restart it. it will load the windows 7 screen and then in the when loading the explorer.exe half way, it jammed and even must force restart. i dont know what is causing my laptop to crashed suddenly ? sometimes can even lag so badly when no program is on. There is a problem with my acer laptop and everytime i start up, i must wait for 30-40 mins before can use the whole laptop including running program in admin mode and how come i must run admin mode on all of my applications/program in order to use the program.
any solutions would be good.

go to system restore and restore to a restore point prior to the problem.
