When I load Windows 7 up it loads on to the logon screen I type my password in and then it says 'welcome' with a blue circle spinning after about 5 seconds the blue circle stop spinning and doesn't load into the operating system.

Any Ideas?

It's possible the profile is corrupt and needs to be recreated. Try to boot into Safe Mode (press F8 before Windows starts to load) and see if you can access any of the accounts. Create a new account and then boot the system to Windows and see if you're able to get in.
