My laptop is a Dell Studio 1558, Processor: Intel(R) Core (TM) i7 CPU q720 @ 1.60GHz 1.60GHz
memory: 4gb ddr 2
64 bit operatiing system

I recently started having programs with my CPU 100% like for simple tasks like running Itunes and avg the cpu reaches 70-100% and eventually shuts down. I only have this laptop 1 year aswel. Like even watching programs on the internet will cause the cpu to go crazy. I have checked the windows task manager processes but apart from the programs running that cause the high usage of cpu there is svchost.exe files running that take alot of cpu usage? Any help would be appreciated

Give the laptop a good cleaning with canned air.
Check your temps in the Bios.
Use malwarebytes (free version) in Safe Mode.

Heat is the biggest issue for a laptop. Cleaning with canned air cleans out the dust buildup.
