What would be the problem? I don't believe that the last Windows update from version 2715 to 2792 caused this, but it somehow started around that time. PSU is a new, quality one, Corsair RMX Shift 1200W, and everything else works great. Also while cold booting, now it takes a bit longer than it used to before, it had no problems.

Well, what is strange is that I didn't change any settings, so it started to be like that all of a sudden, which doesn't make sense. Settings are on balanced, sleep mode is off, and when the screen turns off, it is set to 20 mins. It worked like that without problems for so long. Then I read one solution in some forum, and it worked - to go to the device manager, universal serial bus controllers, and uncheck everything from the list with a power management option. Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power - it should be set to off on all listed devices that have it. But I do not understand. Before, it worked fine with all of them checked, and the computer would turn off with a single click and now I have to uncheck these options in order for it to computer turn off like it was before with all the settings checked.

But I switched to - put the computer to sleep on - never, and the PC would shut down with that when I clicked on shut down, no problem. Then, all of a sudden, it started to have problems with that setting turned off, hmm.

Yeah, sleep doesn't matter because, as I said, I didn't change any settings, and suddenly it started not to shut down, and then I unchecked some options in the device manager, as I stated above, so now it shut downs with a single click. I still don't know how it could shut down with all those options checked, and now I needed to uncheck, and it works.

Nope, it doesn't give me any options to override. The power stays on, the monitor goes to sleep, and moving the mouse doesn't wake it up. Then, holding the power button shuts down the computer. But as I said, turning off the mentioned options in the device manager fixed the problem; now, it boots again quickly and shuts down the computer quickly with a single click. As I said, I do not understand why I needed to uncheck the default options for it to work like it worked with all options checked, but it's fixed.

Well, it hasn't happened for me yet, but yeah, maybe it is possible; either way, I wouldn't notice what was changed since almost everything was on default there, except a few settings like EXPO and memory context restore, which were changed. But as I said, after unchecking some boxes in the device manager, as suggested, I did not experience any problems with shutdowns, so everything is ok now.

Well, satisfied cause now it all works normally and shuts down as before, but I still do not get it how unchecking the boxes in the device manager impacted all that, cause with default settings aka them checked all, was working fine, lol.

Update: Once it shuts down fine, the next day, it hangs again, display off, and power on; so strange. Then I checked again in the device manager power settings like they were before, and it shutdowns again with that...so sometimes, all is normal, then it will be again display off and power on, so I must shut it down manually. Now, this doesn't make sense, lol.

Nah, I already have the latest BIOS and drivers installed. Also, I don't know if it's related, but when my computer goes into sleep mode, and I turn on the power button, it powers on, but the display is still without signal, as if in sleep mode. Moving the mouse or pressing the keys on the keyboard doesn't change that, strange.
