Windows 10 PIN, too many attempts

Just recently (a couple weeks ago) I re-installed windows 10 and created a PIN. Have not entered an incorrect PIN yet except for maybe on a couple boots (once or twice) I hit enter without entering a pin. This morning on boot windows greeted me with a message that I entered an incorrect PIN too many times and that I should restart my device. I did and from there everything went normal. Is this an indication of a security issue and do I need to take any action?

Haven't seen anything security related but could be triggered by corrupt system files apparently.

No, this is standard security, If you mistype your pin or password a few times in a row, then the computer automatically assumes you are an outside force trying to login. So, it asks you to restart the computer, as an outside force would not have physical access to be able to restart the computer.
