I plan on taking my computer to have tune up and have windows 10 installed (too low internet speed here) in a week.

I know windows 10 has its own anti-viral and anti-malware programs. Are they any good?

Right now I'm using MSSE (figure I won't need that), free malwarebytes, free spywareblaster, and sandboxie. I also once a month do ESET online scan.

Will I still need any of the above or do you have better suggestions (the suggestions in the General Computer Security don't seem to be updated for windows 10)?

Thank you.

win10 has windows defender. MSE was combined with it so you do not need any antivirues. You will still need a companion utillity such as malwarebytes for malware. nothing wrong with using other software for a second opinion, especially if you are surfing into the dark areas where nasties are known to exist.

Thank you - Old Rich and sobeit. That answers my question.

BTW, I'm also concerned about privacy with windows 10. I read about this app (see link below) and was wondering if it's good and safe and if anyone is using and how they like it.

If anyone has suggestions on how to keep as windows 10 as private as possible, I'd appreciate it.
