Hi,

I am currenlty having trouble with Window Vista Group Policy, I am the administrator of my laptop but I did not have full control over my laptop. Is there any ways I can reset my Group Policy?

Also how can I disable my highlighting of newly installed program?

Thanks

and that is why i stopped using vista, no super user mode. i want full control over what apps install, and when they run, even if ms hasn't oked the app for startup, or may have safty issues. and i think it was lame that they left that out of even the top teir vista package.

Also how can I disable my highlighting of newly installed program?

Thanks
that i have no clue, it bugs me in xp too. but i just live with it.

try this
msconfig/tools
disable UAC
the other way is to go through admin tools which is a maze and takes patience to find your way though to what you want to acheive
