Help!
I have just changed my mainboard and cpu in my computer.
everything worked fine for a short while. When I rebooted the pc it started hanging at win98.
Help!!!!!!

Did you do a fresh loading of the OS or are you attempting to use the same hard drive with the original OS in the "new" computer?

It would help if you gave some hardware specs as clues!

You stated that everything worked fine for a while until your rebooted since you could not have swaped out your cpu and motherboard while running windows :tounge: I was just wondering:

1) did you ever get to load windows after the upgrade or has it locked up before entering windows every time.

2) at what point does it lock up , I need to know what the last thing the computer did that you noticed before it became a paper weight. All info would help if your getting error meassages or whatever.
