I have an older machind (486 AMD) with the Diamond viper V770 AGP (NVIDIA Riva Tnt2 vbideo card. When I go into dispaly settings to change the color quality and screen resolution (defaulted to 64 and 640-800), I click on apply. Windows suprisingly then only has a pop-up tosaying I must restart to apply the settings.
When doing the restartm, the disspaly settings go back to the default and do do not change to my new settings.
Any ideas on how to apply the changes... (tI need 256 colors for games for my grandson).
