Hi im trying to get these two PC (laptop wi-fi and PC hardwired desktop) to ad-hoc, i seem to be missing something but i dont know what, is there anybody that can teach me step by step,(im so frustrated)Please Ron

You don't specifically say, but for an ad-hoc system, the PC's need to be connected together and then they share a connection.
