today i got anew graphics card before i was using built in graphics. anyway when i installed the new card and went to power on the system everything turns on all fans,etc but windows doesn't start up. i checked all of the connections from the power supply and on the motherboard but it still persists to not boot up idk what it is help please!!:cry:

try to go into bios setup and disable the on board graphics chip. anyway, when you power on pc the graphics card name come up first on the screen. have a look the new or the on board chip name displayed on the screen?

If your system came with integrated graphics, your new video card quite likely requires more power than your computer's PSU is capable of providing.

What is the make and model of your computer and video card?
