How about some information about your system? Things like the BIOS date, motherboard model, etc.

How did you partition the drive?

Check your connections!

Did you write zeros to the drive? If so don't format it with WD setup disk. Just boot to the W2K CD and let it do the formatting for you.

How are all of your IDE drives setup in your machine?

In other words what is the master and slave on each IDE channel? And are they jumpered properly

I'm trying to download the manual for your board but I'm not having much luck on their site..............

Try clearing the CMOS! Look in your manual for instructions on how to do this!

Make sure the computer is turned off and unplugged.

Check these things!

The IDE cable has to have the blue end connected to the motherboard.
The black end needs to go on the hard drive.

If there are any jumpers on the back of the drive labeled Ma, CS and Sl remove them and try it.

If that doesn't work try using a jumper on CS
