I ran into some problems installing win 98 earlier with my cdrom, since it's removable on my gateway solo. I didn't think to switch the bootup options and Bvalkor was nice enough to point it out in another forum. Still don't know why I didn't think of it.
Anywayyyyy.... I'm at a new hurdle.
I get this message when the win 98 setup process begins to try to format:
"Please insert the following disk in drive D (or your cdrom drive):
Win 98 boot disk or cdrom
When ready, press ENTER."
I press enter, and the message comes right back up. Nothing happens. It's like it's all of the sudden not recognizing my cdrom. Help, as always, is appreciated.
