I'm having massive corruption issues running windows 7 ult 64. It regularly fails to boot and gives random bsod messages (Memory Managment, dll errors etc.).
I recently RMA'd the HD after it showed errors on the HD diagnostic utility (even after a complete wipe ) I also RMA'd the motherboard but it didn't change anything. At this point I have my eye on the wireless card (Rosewill RNX-G300EX PCI card). My thought is that (either through driver or hw fault) its causing some corruption in downloaded files, namely system updates. I also regularly get errors trying to open zip and executable files.

Your Function Discovery Resource Publication service is listed as having stopped abnormally - please restart it and monitor to make sure that it stays running. More info on it here: http://wiki.blackviper.com/wiki/Function_Discovery_Resource_Publication

There are many, many serious errors in your System Event Log file and in the Application Event Log file.

I would suggest backing up your data, then wiping the hard drive with DBAN or KillDisk (both are free), and then installing Windows 7 again. The wipe of the hard drive with DBAN or KillDisk is essential to see if something at a lower level of the hard drive is causing these problems.

I'd also suggest trying these free diagnostics - as the problems that you're having could also be caused by hardware issues:
H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these bootable hardware diagnostics:
http://www.carrona.org/memdiag.html (read the details at the link)
http://www.carrona.org/hddiag.html (read the details at the link)

Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: http://www.carrona.org/malware.html (read the details at the link)

Then, if the above tests pass, I'd try these free stress tests:
FurMark download site: http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/
FurMark Setup:
- If you have more than one GPU, select Multi-GPU during setup
- In the Run mode box, select "Stability Test" and "Log GPU Temperature"
Click "Go" to start the test
- Run the test until the GPU temperature maxes out - or until you start having problems (whichever comes first).
- Click "Quit" to exit
Prime95 download site: http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft/
Prime95 Setup:
- extract the contents of the zip file to a location of your choice
- double click on the executable file
- select "Just stress testing"
- select the "Blend" test. If you've already run MemTest overnight you may want to run the "Small FFTs" test instead. (run all 3 if you find a problem and note how long it takes to error out with each)
- "Number of torture test threads to run" should equal the number of CPU's times 2 (if you're using hyperthreading).
The easiest way to figure this out is to go to Task Manager...Performance tab - and see the number of boxes under CPU Usage History
Then run the test for 6 to 24 hours - or until you get errors (whichever comes first).
This won't necessarily crash the system - but check the output in the test window for errors.
The Test selection box and the stress.txt file describes what components that the program stresses.
Good luck!

Its a very strange error in that if I start the system cold, watch it crash on startup, then turn it off for a few seconds before it continues to cycle, then restart, it works file (though every time I install win7 it eventually becomes corrupted). If I let it restart by itself (cold, without a delay between attempts) it will cycle indefinitely.

Ive done several installs on clean hard drives, this one included, and even installed ubuntu. The 32 bit version does not error but corrupts after a few restarts and the 64bit version kernel panics regularly.

Its not mb or hd related, but one of my other concerns is that the ram is DDR3 1600 but but the mb is designed for 1333 only (1600+ is specified as OC only though this was not made clear where I purchased it from.... lesson learned). It appears to auto under clock successfully but Im not an expert on overclocking particularly with memory.

Crashes under Ubuntu mean we are looking at some sort of hardware error.

Run the hardware diagnostics that usasma mentioned.

Also, doublecheck what your exact PSU model is.
