Hello,

I have 3 computers that are all having the same issue with sleep and hibernation mode. My Pink desktop only has Sleep mode, no Hibernation mode, and lately it is refusing to completely enter sleep mode and turn off all the RGB and the fans, but I am not certain if it is turning off the Corsair Hydro-x pump/res so that concerns me. If it is possibly turning off the pump/res then that is cooling my CPU and that leaves the desktop w/only the fans cooling it. I am having to resort to turning it off with the power button because I cannot find any method (tried keyboard and mouse with no success) to wake it to turn it off normally.

My Katana seems to go to sleep but the moment I open the lid it instantly wakes up, I don't know if this is normal.

My Win10 Pro laptop doesn't enter sleep mode, it only turns off the display, when using the hibernation mode there are many times that I find it with the trackpad lit up and the back light on the display lit up but a black screen and all I have to do to get it fully activated in Windows is just move the mouse. Don't understand why this is happening.

One is a custom built desktop the other 2 are laptops. The desktop and 3 yr old laptop are running on Win11 Pro and the other laptop is running on Win10 Pro (it is a 13 yr old HP DV7 w/HW upgraded as far as it can go).

Pink Desktop WinVer: 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3447)
MSI Katana GF66 Laptop WinVer: 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3737)
HP DV7 Laptop Win10 Pro WinVer: 23H2 (OS Build 19045.4598)

Not certain what other info might help.

I occasionally check on threads that haven't been answered when enough time has elapsed. Did you solve the problem or do you want a staff member's help?

Hiya,

it is still happening but with a twist that I forgot to mention. I can only use Hibernation mode on the Win10 Pro laptop. If I use the sleep mode on it then it only turns off the display as described. On the custom built desktop I have to wake it up using the power button. Is that normal? It has been ages since I owned a desktop.....The Katana is the same as described. It wakes up when I open the lid, I am still wondering if that is normal.
