I have a dell B110. I just bought a new video card which is geforce 8400gs pci card. The card needs 300watts. The Dell has 250. I can’t find any facts if it’s Proprietary power supply. Some say it is, some say it aint. I may call dell but they may just say it is to make a quick buck. I just purchased ultra LS 350 power supply but I’m not sure if I should open it. I’m scared I may blow up my computer. So does anyone know what I should do?

Yeah its already installed and im using it now its just laggy somewhat... Im sure u believe the video card is a pci E ... it isnt .. I have it as a PCI ... They do sell it in PCI format, most people say they dont but they do. But yeah the card is already installed and working.... but its a little lagging and has some small problems.. So i looked into it and the problems can be caused by low watts. i got 250, and the box for the card says i need 300 min. So I hoping it will fix it.

Im mostly worried about installing the Power supply and it breaks my computer. Ive read like different comments on different forums about non dell power supplies burning out the boards cause u can only use dell supplied power supplies. if this is true i want to return this before 14 days is up.
