Will these 2 hdd's work in RAID 0?

One of my friends recommended that I buy a 2nd hard drive like the one I have and put them in RAID 0. My question is: If one has a 16mb cache, and the other has a 32mb cache, can I still put them in RAID 0? My friend said he wasn't sure and I have absolutely no idea. Can't find another 16mb cache so that's why I'm asking. Same brand, same size, the only difference is the cache.

If they are TRUELY the same size, not just what the label says in GB but in max LBA value, then yes they should work with different sizes of cache. RAID0 though provides no data protection, lose one drive and everything is gone. Also RAID0 is not automatically a noticeable speed improvement. a lot depends on what you are doing, the capabilities of the disks and controllers.
