As I'm onlying running 1GB 667 mhz DDR 2 RAM It's really not great performance. Looking to upgrade to Dual modules (2x1gb 800 mhz RAM) But having trouble finding the right PIN Config for my mobo. My motherboard is the ASUS M2N-E SLI (Supports DDR 2 SDRAM) The current RAM I'm looking at is:

OCZ 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 CL 4-4-4-15 PLATINUM XTC

Would my mobo support this RAM?

Hi johay,
Here is a link for your Mobo:
http://dlsvr03.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socketAM2/M2N-E/e2830_m2n-e_sli.pdf
It states it is DDR2 (240 pin) compatible.
Here is another link that may help you:
http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?modelmenu=2&model=1419&l1=3&l2=101&l3=370&l4=0
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Bll
Thanks for the information, Guess that's a bum, only can find 667 mhz, when I was really looking for some nice 800 mhz.

EDIT: Silly me I was looking at the 4200. As the current site I was on was been funny, but found some nice 800 mhz. Thanks for the resources, Must also apologize for me not knowing, Since I'm new to the Tech area. Again thanks for the resources, I really should of checked the ASUS site myself.

Its no problem.
Good luck with the new RAM.
Remember never to mix RAM. If you do the system may become unstable. Also if you mix 667 with the 800 it will run at 667 and not 800. You should only install matching pairs.
Glad to help.
Thanks,
Bill
Well friend kinda told me it's best to install dual modules, so I was going to rip my 1gb (667 mhz) out anyway. 2gbs @ 800 mhz with my current CPU, should be fine.

I have upt it, to 1.95 V as this is the only option in BIOS. In Pc Wizard I get the following result:

Type : DDR2-SDRAM PC2-6400 (399 MHz) - [DDR2-800]

It also says: Voltage : SSTL 1.8v When I have gone into Bios and up the voltage to 1.95.

Hi
Your bus speeds are at max (399 Mhz). Uping the voltage to1.95 will only make the ram run hotter not faster (I think). At 399 mhz (400) x2 = your DDR2-800. Your DDR2 667 ram was only running at 333 mhz (at 333mhz X2 = your DDR2 667). Here is a link that may answer some of your questions.

Hope this helps.

Sorry if this sounds dumb, But I am kinda new to the tech area (well 8 weeks or so old to it).

So in theory the Ram works together like a Dual Core CPU? So obviously 2x 400 mhz runs at 800 mhz (together)?
