Hi, will the Superclocked Nvidia GTX 560 run with no problems on a G31 mainboard¿; (Gigabyte G31M-ES2C);
Let me know your thoughts, also if using an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8Mhz; or a Core 2 Quad 2.66mhz. Will the difference be important or not that big.
Thanks!

In theory it should work provided your using a proper power spply and not some 500w junker.

Depends if the tasks your using support quad core cpu's If your running quad supported tasks then the quad will be leaps and bounds faster over the dual.
Thank you,
Main use is for latest games. Would a core 2 duo 2.8mhz be that much of a bottleneck in this case, is it worth the core2quad price tag, or the difference wouldn´t affect gameplay in an important way. ¿

BTW, PSU is corsair 750tx (i know with these components i am looking forward to upgrade MB & processor to high end in the near future, but meanwhile.....)
Since you are planning to u/g soon, I'ld save the 200 bucks and put it towards the new sys. You get there that much faster.
