Hm... maybe they should update their firmware. I've had similar problems before.

Like usual: check for updates and such. Which distro are you using? I know Ubuntu hates certain wifi cards (especially zonet) and wouldn't be surprised if it was acting up again. (I've had better with in wifi with Fedora... but I hate Fedora)

I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 I believe. Its just really strange because it was working a few days ago but while working my computer shut off on me I'm not sure if that did anything but after that it stopped working also that was the day all the residents moved in. Not sure if its just too busy of a network for all the people. Do u think if they reset the wifi maybe it would work or I was thinking of getting a netgear wifi searcher I used it last semester when internet was slow n it worked great. I'm not really sure what to try thou :/ I went to the tech person at school but they were no help lol he was super old.

Hi,

I would like to know if you are connecting to anything, and if so what you are connecting to. If you could rum a couple of commands that would be great and paste the information in your next post.

Checking network connect, everything is run in terminal:
ifconfig
ping Google

This will show us if you are connecting to anything.
