Im checking on the hardware monitor program and its showing my 3.3v as 1.16 volts.... i restart and check bios and it shows it as the proper 3.3v. Is this just a program error or is it really dropping to 1.16 after i boot up?

Corsair 1000HX power supply.

Edit.. speedfan is showing the same thing.. my motherboard is a new crosshair III, with 8 gigs (4 x 2) of dominator ram and a 965 phenom II (all new).

Id imagine id be noticing something if it really was 1.16? Im not familiar with volt readings so i dunno what the 3.3v even is.

Edit #2 lol just noticed its showing my 12v at 4 volts... :p this has to just be a buggy reading right? lol

Like i said in the bios when i restart everything looks fine.

And the CPU isn't 0c that's for sure.
Newer boards and CPU's are not reporting like they used to, it'll take awhile for the software to catch up.

If your 3.3 was really that low the pc would be shutting off, believe the bios reading it's the most accurate. If you want to verify with the system loaded then a digital volt meter on a spare sata power plug will do the trick.

Ok thanks, yeah all the bios readings are very close to what they should be.. the 1 exception is the 12v which is 12 - 12.2. Is that normal? Sorry if these are silly questions, im just a hardware newb in general, i dont understand voltages.
