I am running win 98. I can't seem to find or see all the files in my windows folder. I am looking in windows\temporary internet files. I have all my options turned on such as view all hidden and system files, but there are 9 megs of files and folders in this folder , but I cannot see them. Where are they. My search says they are there, but when I open the folder nothing. Just can't understand this. Please help if you can. I don't know where to go for help. Thank- You.

Open a DOS window - and type these commands:

CD\WINDOWS\TEMP <ENTER>

Now type:

DIR /ASH

To eliminate the hidden and system file attribute:

ATTRIB -R -A -S -H *.*

Now type DIR . . .

They are either there or their not.
