Yo,

I need to buy a new graphics card for my alienware m5550i-r3 but have no idea really where to start. The video card that is currently in there is a nvidia Geforce Go 7600. The extent of my basic knowledge is that i need to buy a card that is MXM type II, beyond that i have no idea. Any advice and/or links will be greatly appreciated. :grin:

From what I've read online a 8600 256mb and 3650 256mb Are SUPPOSE to work.

Did your old GPU fail? Note that installing a more powerful GPU will use more power and generate even more heat.
