They usually use the larger Molex plug, the kind you'd use on a CD-ROM or HDD. Be careful, OEM power supplies are often very underpowered.

Sorry about the multiple threads in the forum, but their still all about different questions which is what matters right.
So anyway I own a dell 4600 and want to install a geforce 6600GT but when I open up the case there are molex cables all over the place, some of the wires are tied up with a round bit of plastic. Their basically connected to the hard drive, PSU, cd rom drives etc.
Which one do I connect to the 6600GT?

i have a dell 4600, since i bought it i added a 6200 stead of mx440
another hard drive to the 3 drives that it came with, and another stick of ram. im still stable, if you have 3 drives or less you should be fine.
