and have drawn up three motherboards that meet my budget and my specs
this computer is for a little gaming and INTERNET surfing and a lot of word processing
it will have a dual core E8400 3.0ghz processor
a dual display graphics card??? not sure yet what that will be but it will definitely be PCI-E
3GB (2 x 1gb + 2 x 512mb) ram preferably 1066
sata hard drive
2 x sata dvd burners

Frankly, both the Gigabyte and the ASUS are great boards.

My personal choice and the board that I have is the P5K-e Wi/Fi version of the P5K, but I don't know the one you have listed since I have not used that one. Some of my tech friends on here swear by the Gigabyte board, so it is kind of like the old Ford/vs/Chevy question. Personal taste and loyalty to a brand makes the choice easier for some of us. I am running mine with an Intel 8400...love that combination.
