€150? Dell had a 256MB ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT on offer but I didn't want to waste money.

first checkout wether ur MB has a AGP SLOT or a PCI EXPRESS slot...
if u hve d PCI express slot than thts gud...as dey hve u d best performance...
though i dont know abt ati cards...
but in nvidia go for the fx6800 or the series above tht....as per ur requirements

Post the make and model of your pc. This will dictate what card you will get.
