In my experience ... mainly out of various trash cans ....

I'm not sure I don't have any .. but Iv heard that they are a pain and in most cases end up being replaced by better brands. Are they even still in business?
Nope, 3dlabs is no longer making video cards. One day they were top of the line the next they dont exist, that was a couple years ago. I think nVidea bought them out. It was a shock to me when it happened. I would only by thier cards. Then one day I went into BestBuy looking to upgrade and I asked the guy there "Hey, goober, wheres the 3dlabs video cards?" "They went out of buisness" he said. But actually they were doing very well, they just gave up and sold out. And at that time nVidea rose to the top.
