When you loaded the XP cd, did you delete the old partition and formatt the new one?

Where Is Windows 98?
I installed Windows XP on a computer already running Win 98. This was not an upgrade but a full install. After the installation I did not see any of my programs in the Start Menu so I reinstalled them and everything seems to be working fine. My question is where is Windows 98? Is it still taking up space on my hard drive? If it is, how can I locate it and can I remove it.

No. I did not know how or what to do. As far as I know I just inserted the XP CD and began the install process. I did this about 6 months ago.
You must have formatted the drive when you installed XP
