Either sign out and back in with other accounts or use a client like TBird or Outlook and put all your AOL addresses there. If you do that, everything will be consolidated.

Thunderbird is not "no more" It's still updated regularly by Mozilla. From SP Guides:
Settings Server Name Port
Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server outlook.office365.com 993
Incoming Mail (POP) Server outlook.office365.com 995
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server smtp.office365.com 587

330348

this is one of the errors that pops up
what now
Thanks
this advice from aol site is of course nonsense
Access mail via Outlook.com
Use an app password for initial sign in. Learn how to generate third-party app passwords.
1. Go to Settings in the upper right | select Account Settings.
2. At the bottom of the pane, select View all Outlook Settings.
3. Select Mail | Sync Mail.

Then your incoming settings are wrong. If IMap Server is imap.aol.com Port 993
If POP: Server is pop.aol.com Poprt 995
TLS/SSL required
You still need a PW which I explained I can't help you with.
