The Quadro series is meant more for things like CAD applications than games.
According to the Nvidia website the card's performance is classified "Mid-Range." But hey the best way to find out is to try playing one.

NVIDIA Quadro FX Solutions
The NVIDIA Quadro FX family features high-end graphics boards, designed for professional 3D applications such as: MCAD, DCC, NLE, and Visualization Applications.

Alienware... How I despise them.

As the other posters has stated, your card is geared towards design, and not necessarily real-time animated 3D envinonments with lots of shiny-pretty things. It's good for 3D modeling, design and CAD work.
