Out of the three, which one is best for gaming and which one is best overall? I say XP and my friend says 98. I am just curious cause I think XP is more updated in a sense. So let me know what you think, 98/2000/or XP. Which one is better?

This is an age-old debate that happens whenever a new version of Windows comes out. Use whatever works for you in your environment, nothing can be gained by getting into a pissing contest over who's version of Windows is "better".

i would say the best one is the one that does the things you need to do. i stick with the 98se, cos it does all i need to do, and its less buggy than the others, but if i needed to do stuff 98se wouldnt, i would have to move on.

Sorry, but I gotta agree with the majority...............there are too many missing things in your question for me to give you a general answer. It depends on what you like to do. What you are using it for and mostly if 98se is working for you right now why would you want to switch just for the sake of switching?

If you are using 98se and you are wanting to update just for the sake of updating, but 98se is doing the job the WHY? The bottom line is if it works use it.

I guess I repeated myself enough didn't I? But, having a OS that works is the bottom line.
