Hello I have a Novatech 500W gaming PSU and so far it has served me well.
I had an overheating issue with my cpu a few days ago and although I do not believe that my cpu overheating is in anyway related to my PSU when asking for help on various forums some people (including a few on this fourm) pointed out that my PSU was not high enough for my graphics card.

GPU Sapphire Readeon HD 6870
PSU Novatech 500W gaming silent
and here is a hardware monitoring program showing voltage and temperature.

All I'm asking is do i need to upgrade my psu? it seems to be bumbling along fine and I'd prefer not to spend money on it right now.
If I do need to replace it could you point me towards a suitable PSU to purchase?
Thank you
note: i'm based in the UK

You need to be at 650W with a good quality PSU.
SeaSonic-XFX-Corsair (not the CX-GS-M Series).
Post a link to the site you prefer to purchase from and we may be able to assist you in a choice.
