ok, my current setup is shown at the bottom and I have had the urge to get a new video card

eVGA 128-A8-N350 Geforce 6600GT 128MB 128-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Video Card

or

eVGA 256-P2-N383-TX Geforce 6800 256MB 256-bit DDR PCI Express x16 Video Card

or any other card that anyone could recommend - i am trying to stay around the 200 dollar mark. and mostly would like to play Battlefield 2 and Half Life 2 with no hiccups. HL2 runs pretty well and looks great right now, but I can tell it needs a little more.

thanks for any help and tips

cool, thanks for the quick replies - as you can tell I am a rookie at dealing with upgrading my comp, but I'd rather ask then buy something that won't work.

I have been reading some reviews about the 6600GT and a few people have been saying it can run a bit hot in comparison to other cards, but then again most reviews say it runs fine.

currently I am trying my luck at getting the side panel fans on my case to work. I was suprised they werent hooked up considering I had the thing built for me, but oh well.
