What program do you use?

You use the software that comes with the video capture card it usually works best.

Windows Movie Maker works well as well . . and you already have it if you have XP

Meh. People said the included program sucks. Also, WMM said the device is in use even though it is not.

My experience FWIW . . when "People" say something sucks without saying what it is about the program they do not like . . they do not know what they are talking about.

You will need to stop any app or process that is using the card . .cnt/alt/del to see what might be running . . ( likely Nero )

Nero is closed when I tried to use WMM. The bundled program is PVR PLUS. Also, I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about.

If I'm not mistaken, VirtualDub can capture video/audio from a TV Card.

The program(s) that come with the product are actually usually the best to use because that is what they recommend you to use.
