hi,

I'm thinking about buying a graphics, but the requirements stipulate that the power supply has to be at least 350 watt.

I have no idea what my power supply is. Could someone tell me this, or how to check this ?

My PC is a Dell Optiplex GX280.

You'll have to look at the power supply. There should be a sticker on it that will tell you the wattage.

PSU wattage sizes vary considerably, depending on the hardware, from PC to PC.
There are four versions of the Dell Optiplex GX280.
Small Form Factor 160W; Small Desktop 210W; Desktop 280W; Mini-Tower 305W
Remove the side panel of the case and there will be a label on the PSU with the Brand Name and Wattage.
