Well, recently my dreams came true and I got a new computer. 2 Gigs of ram, a nice processor, and after a few days the XFX Geforce 7950GT came in. I use everest as the thing that measures my computer temperatures, so I went and tried the card out. After playing a bit, I noticed that my card was at 91 Degrees! Holy crap, I quickly turned the computer off and installed another fan today.

So, this card is fanless by the way, and I have just tried playing GRAW maxed out with the extra fans. It's usually 55-60 C while idle, and now It just went up to 71 C on GRAW. I was wondering if this was an all-right temperature, or if this is gonna create Chernobyl #2? And what exactly should be considered a dangerous temperature? What is too far for a video card?

That's not overly bad for a GPU that's been recently stressed. How many fans do you have pulling cool air into the PC?
