What is the best P2P.....not kazaa

I like mIRC32 myself. I will have to tell you though that it is not an easy program to learn, but it is one of the safest out there.

And, I agree, I dont like kazaa either.

To many people be hacking on mIRC, I would like to use it. But I don't like the hacking part of it........

I have to agree with Laffctx. I like mIRC. I find downloads tend to be faster through mIRC too. I used to like audiogalaxy before they got shutdown, not I just use mIRC.

How can you use it without getting hacked.....

*knocks on wood* I've never had a problem with hackers. I just mind my own, run my firewalls and my antivirus. I don't look for trouble. Not saying anyone does, but I've been lucky so far.

Then I will check it out, How do you download songs on it.......

irc is decent, but i claim that the best out there is direct connect. check out http://www.neo-modus.com or http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net to get the diff versions. right now, i'd say that dc++ is a little better as per what u can get but the functions are slightly less. the hardest thing is finding a good hub, but once u do find one u like, well lets put it this way...i wont be renting any movies for a while. other thing is that to get into good hubs, yer required to share a fair amnt...and i dont mean 10 gigs...good hubs are 50+ gigs shared. interestingly enough, the current hub im in has under 700 users yet over 10x the amnt of data by space than does all of kazaa.

Kazaa is the only P2P I like. People dont seem to have much software(if any) on other P2Ps. I use the adkiller/spyware killer dll with it.

I use DC Hub for my music needs of course, nuthin else comes close. I used Soulseek sometimes as well but there's always queues. Good for underground stuff though.

well, i mostly only download pictures, but i like kazaa just fine. and i have heard of people getting viruses on all of them, it isnt the service's fault. but i just grab pics and sometimes songs, they seem safe so far....

the only thing i hate about kazaa is virus's and spyware.........other than that it is not bad, but i like mirc the best

well as far as mirc is concerned they charge you a one time fee of $20 to register it, but if you dont register it you can still use it.........registering it is pretty much on the honor system. But, you dont really have to to use it.

You can use it longer, but it will pop up asking you to register.

Yea, you can use it longer but it will give you a popup every 30 days asking you to register. If you want to fine if not then in another 30 days it will ask you again. So, every 30 days you will have to tell it no and keep going.............that's all.
