When you first turn it on one of the first screens you see should tell you what speed it's running at, Post back with that info...:D

You should also be able to go into the bios and it will tell you what speed it is...;)

You may have missed some settings!

OK

Take a look at SW1 it should be set at the following!

1=on
2=on
3=on
4=on

The cpu fan should be plugged into the header to the top right hand side of the CPU.

JP5 jumper should be on 1&2

Check this and post back ....;)

There is a bios update on their site, Go here and search the bios section.

I did find ver 2.2 there but no manual...:confused:

You have to look under GA-7DX/-C

When you get to the bios section click on older bios on the lower right of the box.

It looks like you will need this to run that CPU...:winkgrin:

Hello and welcome, looks like SPEEDO'S got you on your way but I thought I'd answer one of your questions (for future reference)

how do u tell whether its on or off.
ON = Jumper is connected across both pins
OFF = Jumper Gone, or connected across only 1 pin.

Hope you get your system up and running, let us know. :)
