Hey guys. I have an Acer Aspire 5532 series and I want to factory reset it. I've followed all the guidelines I could but I just can't factory reset this thing. Apparently whoever had this computer before managed to damage the partition drive where the recovery software is usually located. Also, the BIOS menu is password protected so I can't do the other methods that I've found.
Besides buying a recovery disc, it seems like my only option is to try and recover the Recovery disc partition. What I've noticed is that the main C: drive takes up 70 GB while the D: drive takes up around 4 GB, meaning there's something there but for some reason the computer can't access it.
Is there a program out there that could fix this for me, and if so, is there anyone here that can help me utilize that program to fix my problem?
