Hi, Sorry I didnt really know where to put this as it is inbuilt into the mobo.

On my computer I have my amp hooked up to it with a 1300 watt sub and speakers (weird, I know). I open a song in either media player or iTunes and it wont work then I open with quicktime palyer and it will woprk thats the only player it will play oin on my computer, then after while the sound will just go and I have to restart, I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers but that done nothing i'm really stuck, please help me!!!

Post back with brand/model of the sound card (or motherboard if you're using onboard sound).

How are things hooked up - optical, surround etc?

It's hooked up into an amp that is connected to a 1300 watt fusion sub and two sony 6x9 300 watt speakers.

Try playing songs with VLC.
