Hello, this is a totally new setup. It contains:

Phenom II X4 955 3.2Ghz
Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P (AM3 mobo)
2x2Gb OCZ Black Edition 1600 Mhz.

So, the mobo should support 1600 mhz speed for the ram. However, when the pc boots, there is a message: RAM speed 1066 Mhz, Unganged mode. What does it mean? Is it underperforming? Do I need to alter some sort of Bios Setting?

Also, there is a different message where it says Verifying DMI pool data or sth in the boot process. It also says, AMD Data Change...Update New Data to DMI. But the PC boots fine. Any ideas what this is?

Thanx guys

Is your ram actually compatible? (just because it supports 1600MHz ram it does not mean it will be compatible with that make of ram).

Is the 1600MHz ram supported natively or is it only when it's overclocked? i.e you will have to change the dram setting in the BIOS manually to get it to work (press enter on dram speed and select 1600, then you may have to tweak voltages).

you could also try this in regards to verifying DMI pool data

1. If you changed the hardware just before this problem occurred (e.g., installed a new hard disk drive), unchange it.

2. If you installed a new hard disk drive, set the motherboard CMOS Setup to Auto for the drive type. You may have to disconnect the drive first.

3. Enable "Reset Configuration Data" (may be "Force Update ESCD" in some CMOS Setuups) in the motherboard CMOS Setup PNP/PCI configuration. (Rebooting will automatically disabled it after it has done its thing.)

4. The CMOS may be corrupted. Clear it.

5. Disconnect all drives not required to boot the computer. If this fixes it, reconnect one at time.

6. The floppy drive may be bad or not
