weird noise coming from laptop

I have had a weird noise for a few days now coming from the inside of my laptop. I have checked my warrenty with the shop i brought it from and they said i should be able to get another one if its faulty if i bring it to shop and they test it. Anyways ive been asking a few people about this in the laptop section of this forum and they said to post a link on here cause i have smart logs on this page and a hdd technician would be better to check the logs.

the link is http://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/f108/laptop-making-weird-noise-help-556652.html

Thanks

Looked at your Smart logs - no issues at all there. If the noise is not consistent, then it is not likely the click of death- it may just be normal HD sounds. Check in the system BIOS and see if acoustic management is enabled for the drive. This makes it a tad slower, but is designed to reduce the HD noise. Other than that, take it back to the place of purchase and let them check it. Your SMART values tho indicate the drive is functioning at 100%. Some bad sector errors and read errors are normal on any drive over time. particularly read errors. But drives are designed to handle that transparently to the user, by re-reading ( happens ALL the time)
ok i got you i will go into bios and do that but i phoned in today and the store thats near me said they will swap it for a advent so i am going to go along anyways just because the warrenty to swap it is 28 days and thats almost up so its best to go in to the shop and get a technician to test it in person before i can run into more problems. O yea and you say over time the life of this laptop is a week and 3 days exactly.
i know this is going to sound stupid but where is the system bios cause i used to be able to access it on xp now i have win7 and that was 5 years back so i cant remember how to get into system bios
That is a hardware function, it will be some keystroke while the machine is booting before windows starts. Usually Delete, f2, or f10 You should see a mesage "Press <some key> to enter setup at the post screen
